More about your role
As a Regional Investment Manager, you will lead the delivery of planned maintenance and major investment programmes across the London region, including decarbonisation projects. You will manage a team responsible for overseeing contractor performance and ensuring major works programmes are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
You will proactively monitor project progress, identify and resolve issues, and ensure value for money across all investment activities You will also play a key role in performance management, reporting and stakeholder engagement to ensure excellent customer outcomes.
Essential Criteria
- Proven experience managing major works, planned maintenance or capital investment programmes within a construction or property environment.
- Demonstrable experience leading and developing teams, including management of contractor performance and delivery against budgets and targets
- Strong project, programme, contract, cost, safety and change management experience.
- Practical construction knowledge, including understanding of building regulations, standards and CDM regulations.
- Preferably with a degree-level qualification (or equivalent) or a minimum of five years' experience within the building industry, with professional membership of a relevant Chartered Body desirable
More about you
You are an experienced manager with a strong background in delivering investment, maintenance or construction programmes. You have a detailed understanding of contract management and can confidently manage costs, performance and operational risks while ensuring projects meet required standards and specifications.
You take a proactive and analytical approach to problem solving and are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities. You build positive relationships with customers, contractors and stakeholders and are committed to delivering excellent service and value for money.
You'll ideally have knowledge of construction methods, building regulations and industry standards, and hold a full UK driving licence. Professional membership of a relevant Chartered Body would be advantageous.
