About Procurement Hub 

Procurement Hub is a leading public sector procurement service, supporting local authorities, housing providers, NHS bodies and other public sector organisations across the UK. We work in partnership with our customers to simplify procurement, deliver compliant solutions and drive better social, economic and environmental outcomes.  

The role 

The successful candidate will be an experienced B2G (BusinesstoGovernment) sales professional with a proven ability to navigate complex publicsector sales cycles, often spanning 6–36 months, and drive a culture of accountability and precision. Strong publicsector sales experience is highly desirable. 

What you'll be doing 

  • You'll lead and optimise a highperforming public sector B2G sales function, embedding bestinclass sales methodologies to drive accountable, highquality pipeline performance. This includes coaching teams on recognised B2B approaches such as Challenger Sale and Gap Selling, ensuring customers' procurement challenges are clearly understood and addressed through tailored solutions.
  • You'll take a strategic role in managing key customer relationships, working collaboratively with Client Relationship teams on a select number of high‑value strategic accounts, while also holding sole responsibility for a portfolio of major national accounts. You'll shape account strategies, protect renewals, drive longterm retention and identify opportunities for repeat business across frameworks and calloffs.
  • Alongside this, you'll maintain strong pipeline discipline through regular reviews, ensure momentum across opportunities, and provide senior insight into market trends, public sector spend and emerging national priorities to inform sales strategy and positioning. 

You will be required on site in our regional offices one day a week. 

What we're looking for 

You don't have to tick every box, but you'll ideally bring:  

  • We're looking for an experienced B2G sales leader with a strong track record of winning and managing largescale public sector contracts and navigating complex procurement and tender processes. 
  • Someone who has a track record of developing national and regional account management strategies 
  • Experience managing a team based on Key Performance Metrics (e.g. opportunities created, won, income received 

Knowledge of public sector procurement frameworks or working with public sector organisations would be a real advantage.
