Are you passionate about technology and eager to build a career in IT? We're looking for a Service Desk Engineer Apprentice to join our RMG IT team and take the first step towards an exciting and rewarding career in technology.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience whilst working towards a recognised IT qualification. You'll learn from experienced IT professionals, develop valuable technical and customer service skills, and gain exposure to a wide range of technologies used across a leading property management business.
As a Service Desk Engineer Apprentice, you'll be the first point of contact for colleagues requiring IT support. You'll assist with troubleshooting hardware, software and network issues, handle service requests, and help ensure our colleagues can work efficiently with minimal disruption. No two days will be the same, and you'll gain practical experience across a broad range of IT systems and technologies.
Throughout your apprenticeship, you'll receive structured training and on-the-job coaching to help you develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed for a successful career in IT. You'll also have the opportunity to work alongside wider technical teams, gaining insight into specialist areas and building a strong foundation for future progression within the business.

This is a full-time position based at our Northwich office (CW9 7LN).

More about you
We're looking for someone who has a genuine interest in technology and a desire to learn. You don't need previous IT support experience, but you should be enthusiastic, curious, customer-focused and keen to develop a career in IT.
You'll enjoy problem-solving, helping others and learning new technologies, whilst providing excellent service to colleagues across the business.
Essential Criteria
- A genuine passion for IT and technology.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- A positive and proactive attitude with a willingness to learn.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Basic IT literacy, including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
- The ability to remain organised and manage competing priorities.
- A full UK driving licence would be advantageous, as occasional travel to other office locations may be required.
Desirable
- Previous experience in a customer service, retail, hospitality or office-based environment.
- Relevant IT studies, qualifications or personal projects demonstrating an interest in technology.
- Awareness of Microsoft 365 products and cloud technologies.
