At Residential Management Group (RMG), part of the Places for People Group, we're committed to delivering high-quality residential property management services across the UK.
We're now looking for a Scheduling Manager to join our Osterna Asset Compliance team, playing a key role in ensuring the successful coordination and delivery of property compliance inspection programmes nationwide.
Where will I be working?
37.5 hours per week - Hybrid role – 2 days a week based out of our offices in Northwich (CW9 7LN)
More about your role
As Scheduling Manager, you'll lead the planning, coordination and monitoring of national inspection activity, including fire safety checks, EPC assessments and wider property inspections.
You'll oversee scheduling across multiple regions, ensuring work is allocated efficiently, completed on time and aligned with compliance standards and legislation. Alongside this, you'll lead and develop a back-office team, working closely with senior stakeholders to drive performance, manage risk, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
This is a highly collaborative and data-driven role where your leadership, organisation and operational expertise will be key to maintaining high service standards and supporting business growth.
What you'll be doing
- Leading and managing a team of back-office professionals, providing coaching and performance oversight
- Coordinating national inspection schedules to ensure programmes are delivered on time and to standard
- Monitoring operational performance, identifying risks, delays and areas for improvement
- Managing resource allocation, capacity planning and regional coverage
- Providing regular reporting and insights to senior stakeholders on performance and compliance
- Supporting the implementation of new inspection programmes and service improvements
- Building strong internal and external stakeholder relationships
- Conducting site visits to support teams, ensure quality delivery, and maintain consistency
What we're looking for
- Proven experience in operations management, scheduling or project management
- Salesforce experience
- Strong background in workforce planning and coordinating large-scale programmes
- Experience leading and developing high-performing teams, including remote teams
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Highly organised with strong planning and problem-solving abilities
- Confident using IT systems including Excel and reporting tools
Desirable:
- Knowledge of compliance, fire safety or property inspection programmes
- Experience analysing operational data and improving processes
