Are you organised, proactive and someone who enjoys keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes?
At Places Developments, we're looking for a Sales Administrator to join our Developments Central and North team. This is a varied role where you'll provide day-to-day administrative support to our Sales team, helping us deliver an efficient service and achieve our performance and development targets.
You'll work closely with colleagues across Sales and have plenty of variety in your day, from preparing customer documentation and maintaining price lists to organising meetings, processing invoices and helping ensure our sales offices and show homes are well supported.
Where will I be working?
This is a 37.5-hour, full-time hybrid role based at our Leeds office at Stanley House, The Boulevard, LS10 1PZ. We offer a flexible working arrangement, with Tuesdays and Thursdays spent in the office and the remaining three days working from home.
What you'll be doing
This is a hands-on administration role where no two days will necessarily look the same. Your responsibilities will include:
- Updating price lists and distributing these to the Sales team and agents
- Preparing letters and documentation for reservations, exchange and completions
- Organising meetings, including preparing meeting rooms, taking notes and issuing minutes
- Supporting the administration of payments, purchase orders and invoices, as well as keeping the budget tracker up to date
- Ordering and preparing welcome packs and customer handover packs
- Arranging stationery and printing for the Sales team
- Organising travel for events and training
- Keeping files and folders organised and managing old data appropriately
- Maintaining Health & Safety records for sales offices and show homes
Essential Criteria
You'll be someone who is organised, approachable and comfortable managing a varied workload while supporting a busy team.
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Previous experience working within a Administration role or Business Support function (previous exposure to the housing or property sector would be beneficial)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly in plain English
- A strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service
- Good working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- The ability to handle information and matters confidentially
- A positive and proactive approach to your work
