More about your role

As our Performance Reporting Accountant, you'll dive into a dynamic array of critical tasks that hold the keys to driving success. Your mission? To craft top-tier monthly management accounts for both the Group and Central Services, infusing them with insightful analyses and trend-spotting brilliance. Teaming up with the Head of Performance Reporting, you'll navigate the terrain of budgets and forecasts, ensuring a clear line of communication with stakeholders as you monitor performance. But that's not all – you'll also be the mastermind behind quarterly reports that captivate investors' attention, all while ensuring the accuracy and precision of Balance Sheet reconciliations at lightning speed. As the guardian of our performance reports, you'll keep them finely tuned, from accruals to forecasts, ensuring our financial reporting is always up-to-the-minute. And when it comes to showcasing our performance, you'll lead the charge, improving dashboards and KPIs that tell the story of our success with unmatched clarity.

Partnering with the Head of Performance Reporting, you'll champion a culture of relentless improvement, revolutionising our processes and ensuring efficiency reigns supreme. And as you forge strong bonds with finance teams across the board, you'll be the linchpin of seamless information sharing, elevating our understanding of what drives us forward and the risks and opportunities that lie ahead.

This role operates on a hybrid model based out of our Preston office, requiring your presence in the office for two days each week. Please be advised this is a 1 year FTC.
