Reporting to the Community Manager, we are looking to recruit a Maintenance Technician on a permanent basis.
More about your role
Based on site in Brighton 5 days a week, you will be responsible for providing a high quality caretaking service in line with the organisation's policies and procedures. Acting as the point of contact for residents, you will ensure that PPM is carried out in accordance with health and safety legislation.
In addition, you will be responsible for providing a site presence to deter nuisance and carrying out on site minor repairs.
At Places for People, are committed to a safe working environment so a basic DBS check is mandatory.
More about you
The ideal candidate will have previously worked in a customer service role. A plumbing/ carpentry background and IOSH and COSHH qualifications are also desired.
Experience & Skills
- Plumbing / Carpentry background,
- IOSH or equivalent,
- COSHH understanding,
- Familiarity with Excel and Word
