More about your role

This is a fast-paced role to assist with planned and reactive maintenance and requires good communication and interpersonal skills. You will support maintenance activities on site, including planned and reactive maintenance working as part of the wider team to deliver excellence on site.

This is a frontline role with a clear focus on carrying out activities to maintain the fabric and fixtures on site to ensure they meet operational standards while ensuring minimal inconvenience to the occupants and keeping customer satisfaction at the forefront of your mind.

You will be working at the University of Gloucestershire.

More about you

You will need to be flexible, able to follow written work instructions and keep health and safety at the forefront of your mind when carrying out your work. You will work independently and manage your own workload, but you will have support and supervision on hand from more experienced colleagues and management when you need it, and you will be part of the wider Derwent fm team.

You will have previous experience in a similar maintenance/handyperson role and will have a good working knowledge of compliance practices. To be successful in this role you will have a basic level of IT skills as this will be a part of your day-to-day role

Full UK Driving Licence is essential for this role.
