More about your role

As a Community Housing Coordinator, you'll provide a high-quality administration and business support service across our Homes Plus teams, helping to ensure customers receive an efficient and responsive service.
In this varied role, you'll support a range of housing management activities including tenancy changes, mutual exchanges, permissions, landlord references, aids and adaptations, managing agent contracts and tenancy administration. You'll also assist with lettings and marketing processes, including void management activities, tenancy terminations and tenancy creation.

You'll be responsible for maintaining accurate records across key systems, managing alerts and case updates, supporting tenancy enforcement administration and helping to coordinate access for contractors to meet business-critical compliance requirements. You'll also provide financial administration support through raising purchase orders, processing invoices, managing payment enquiries and handling council tax queries.
A key part of the role will involve responding to enquiries from customers and colleagues via telephone, email, face-to-face contact and written correspondence. You'll ensure information is accurately recorded, systems remain up to date and customer issues, including complaints, are resolved promptly and effectively.

A strong attention to detail, commitment to excellent customer service and ability to manage sensitive information accurately are essential. Experience within social housing and knowledge of housing management systems would be advantageous, although not essential.
