Residential Management Group (RMG), a market‑leading Property Management Company, is looking for a hands‑on and proactive Gardener to join our onsite team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a well‑maintained residential development, helping to create and maintain an attractive and safe environment for residents and visitors.

Where will I be working?

35 hours per week – Monday to Friday (8 AM until 4 PM ) - On site at our Holborough Lakes development in Snodland (ME6)

More about your role

As a Gardener, you'll play a key role in ensuring the estate remains a clean, safe and visually appealing environment. Working closely with the Estate Manager and Head Gardener, your responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out general gardening duties including litter picking, mowing, strimming, weeding, hedge cutting, planting and mulching
  • Ensuring all areas of the estate are maintained to a high standard and left clean, tidy and safe at the end of each day
  • Reporting any health & safety issues, maintenance defects or security concerns to the Estate Manager
  • Supporting with seasonal tasks such as gritting and waste clearance
  • Ensuring shared areas are kept clear of hazards or obstructions, escalating issues where needed
  • Working collaboratively with onsite teams and contractors, ensuring safe working practices are followed
  • Providing a courteous and professional service to residents and visitors at all times

You'll also be responsible for promoting a strong health & safety culture, ensuring risks are identified, reported and managed appropriately.

 

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys working outdoors in a hands‑on, practical role.

Essential:

  • Previous experience in grounds maintenance or gardening
  • A proactive and reliable approach, with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good understanding of health & safety in a practical environment
  • A professional and approachable manner when dealing with residents and visitors

Desirable:

  • Experience working within a residential or managed estate environment
  • Knowledge of maintaining high‑end or landscaped developments
