If so, Places for People have an opportunity just for you. We are looking for a Trainee Social Value Project Officer to join our small Social Value team here in Preston.
What your role will be
Your role with us as a trainee will be to assist in gathering, recording and monitoring information for our social value dashboard to support the Group’s social value approach, this will include working with numerical data. You will be asked to undertake ad-hoc research and information gathering tasks, you will have the opportunity attend meetings, take and distribute minutes and maintain diaries. You will use business systems such as Business World to produce invoices and payment processes.
Throughout your employment with us you will work towards completing either Business Administration Level 3 qualification or study Project Management at Level 4. We will offer extensive support to ensure you have all the skills and relevant experience to do so.
We are looking for an ambitious individual with good communication skills (written and verbal) who is confident with an ability to talk to colleagues in a professional manner. The most important quality we require is an openness and eagerness to learn new skills and the ability to multi- task when under pressure. You will have some experience working with a number of IT systems including Microsoft Word and Excel however, full training will be given to the successful applicant.
