We are looking for an engaging, reliable and enthusiastic individual to deliver tennis coaching sessions at Graves Health and Sports Centre on a Saturday morning and Sunday morning. 

Please note - this role requires you to be an LTA accredited coach with either an up-to-date LTA level 2 qualification or an up-to-date LTA level 3 qualification

 

About this role

Graves Health and Sports Centre holds 8 indoor courts, within which we run our 'Unmissable Tennis' program on all 7 days of the week. This program delivers tennis to over 400 people, and is led by our team of LTA accredited coaches, who aim to provide the unmissable experience to all tennis players at Graves by creating an environment that promotes unmissable learning, unmissable exercise, and unmissable fun. 

We are looking for a tennis coach who holds either a level 2 or level 3 LTA accredited coaching qualification to join a team that is committed to providing a high-quality coaching service to hundreds of tennis players. Our tennis program caters for individuals of all ages, level and motivations for playing tennis, so we are looking for a coach who is competent at working with any age group and has experience in leading group lessons to both junior tennis players and adults. 

We are looking for a coach who would be able to regularly lead 6 hours of group lessons across a weekend. These hours are on a Saturday morning 9am-12pm and a Sunday morning 9am-12pm. These would be all be indoor group lessons and these groups would be a combination of junior groups and adult groups. 

In addition, by becoming a member of our coaching team, you would also be entitled to deliver private individual lessons and also have the opportunity to take any available cover hours that arise throughout the year. 

 

What we are looking for: 

ESSENTIAL 

  • An up-to-date level 2 or level 3 LTA coaching accreditation
  • Experience in leading tennis group lessons to juniors and adults
  • Availability to work both weekend mornings, on a Saturday morning 9am-12pm, and a Sunday morning 9am-12pm
  • Excellent organisation, time management skills and punctuality
  • A dependable and effective communicator, both within a team and when delivering to customers

DESIRABLE

  • Experience working within a coaching team
  • Openness to take cover hours during the week
  • Competent at using mobile phones and responding to emails
  • Openness to engage in coach development workshops and team meetings
