More about your role

In your role, you supervise and lead the Splash Park Recreational Assistant team, ensuring daily operations run safely and smoothly. You follow all Health & Safety and Operating Procedures, including responding to first aid needs, reporting maintenance issues and completing required documentation. During each shift, you manage on‑duty staff, make sure tasks are completed, and ensure all areas are appropriately staffed. You handle customer and staff complaints promptly, escalate issues when needed, and report any maintenance concerns or Don't Walk Bys. You oversee the setup, breakdown and storage of equipment, maintain high standards of cleanliness inside and outside the Splash Pad, and take the lead during any serious incident using the Serious Incident Management Pack. You also complete general administration as required and provide day‑to‑day mentoring, training and support for the recreational assistant team.

Ideally, you also have experience with plant room operations, which would support the safe and efficient running of the Splash Park.
