Thriving Investments is socially conscious fund manager focussed on the ‘living' sector. We invest across a range of housing tenures that deliver market returns to investors and social impact. We currently manage over 5,000 homes representing £1.1bn assets under management and have an ambitious plan to grow to £5bn + through launching new funds and expanding existing funds. The Shared Ownership Asset Management Team are seeking to hire a leasehold/shared ownership professional to support this growth.
Thriving Investments has a current team of over 20 people based across the UK with its main office in central London. It is supported by a board of non-executive directors from across the residential, sustainability and investment management sectors with access to support from other functions such as IT, Finance, HR and Facilities from its parent, Places for People.
More about the role
We are looking to recruit a Shared Ownership Advisor on a permanent basis.
Based out of either London or Bath (3 days a week), this is a key role in the Asset Management team overseeing the contract management of our external property managers and ensuring that ReSI Homes are compliant with all regulatory matters that sit within the RP.

You will enjoy a varied role, being a part of all aspects of the shared owner customer journey. Reporting to the Asset Manager and working closely with the Director of Operations, you will ensure our customers get the service they deserve and that we meet the regulatory requirements for our homes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing customer requests (e.g. remortgaging, pets, alterations, staircasing, resales)
- Supporting monthly reporting requirements
- Ensuring compliance with the Capital Funding Guide
- Maintaining accurate documentation in the central database

Experience/ Skills:
- Knowledge of the affordable housing sector and a good understanding of leasehold management, landlord and tenant legislation and case law.
- Experience of using both housing management and service charge systems.
- Skills above in a For Profit RP or Managing Agent environment.
- Established leasehold/shared ownership professional with a minimum of 3 years' experience.
- Degree-educated and MTPI or RICS
