More about your role
We are looking for a passionate and result-driven Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) Executive who will be responsible for overseeing the optimisation of web content. The role will support the Senior Digital Marketing Executive in continually improving the Places for People development websites by helping to improve keyword rankings, website traffic, site structure and measuring and reporting on SEO performance. You will be working closely with the marketing team to achieve SEO objectives, measuring the success of SEO and ROI, and assisting with the maintenance of the website's architecture to ensure user friendliness.
We offer flexible working hours as we appreciate the importance of work life balance and whilst we are offering homebased working there could be a requirement for you to work at our offices in Preston 1-2 days a week when it is safe to do so.

Ideally, we are looking for someone with a proven track record in a dedicated Search Engine Marketing role, with excellent knowledge of Search Engine Marketing, algorithms and ranking strategies. You will be degree qualified or have relevant digital marketing experience, training or qualifications. The successful person will have sound knowledge and understanding of Content Management Systems (CMS). A strong understanding and proven experience of using digital software and tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Umbraco, SEMRush, Search Console, MOZ, Ahrefs etc.) is essential.
