As the Senior Utility Manager, you'll take strategic and operational ownership of all Utility Management activities across the business. You'll work to deliver cost-effective energy solutions while ensuring regulatory compliance, technical reliability, and alignment with Places for People's wider sustainability objectives.
We are recruiting 2 Senior Utility Managers one to specialise in Gas and Heat Networks and the second role to specialise in Electricity
The Essential Criteria for the role is listed below
- Strong analytical skills and experience with utilities billing systems and cost recovery processes.
- Leadership experience in managing utility operations and working with cross-functional teams.
- Financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets and drive savings across utilities management.
You will work primarily from home however on occasions will be required to travel to one of our offices.
More about you
You have in-depth knowledge of gas procurement, Heat Network management, and the associated regulatory landscape, along with a proven track record in negotiating utility contracts and driving operational efficiencies.
The ideal applicant will be detail-oriented and solutions-focused, you bring strong communication and negotiation skills, paired with a proactive, improvement-driven mindset. You thrive in a collaborative environment, balancing multiple priorities while keeping both internal stakeholders and external customers at the heart of your approach.
You will work primarily from home however on occasions will be required to travel to one of our offices.
