Thriving Investments is socially conscious fund manager focussed on the ‘living' sector. We invest across a range of housing tenures that deliver market returns to investors and social impact. We currently manage over 5,000 homes representing £1.1bn assets under management and have an ambitious plan to grow to £5bn + through launching new funds and expanding existing funds.

Thriving Investments has a current team of over 20 people based across the UK with its main office in central London. It is supported by a board of non-executive directors from across the residential, sustainability and investment management sectors with access to support from other functions such as IT, Finance, HR and Facilities from its parent, Places for People. 

More about the role 

We are looking to recruit a Senior Executive Assistant on a permanent basis. 

Reporting to the Chief Executive and supporting the senior management team, this is a key role in the day to day running of the organisation. 

This position is based out of London 3 days a week. 

More about you 

The Senior Executive Assistant is a vital member of the team, providing proactive, high-quality executive and administrative support. You will be expected to work flexibly, use judgement and personal initiative to prioritise tasks and forward plan whilst managing a busy and changing workload. In addition, you will ensure that high quality administration and executive support is consistently provided.  

We are looking for someone who can take the role of Senior Executive Assistant and evolve it through the use of AI and other tools available so an interest in how workplaces will evolve in the future is essential. 

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Managing the Chief Executive's schedule and providing day to day support to the wider senior management team,
  • Managing the production of board packs and other papers for publication,
  • Planning and managing large-scale meetings and events with internal and external participants,
  • Maintaining high professional standards for correspondence and document preparation, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail,
  • Acting as a liaison between the senior management team and key internal and external stakeholders, managing relationships with discretion and professionalism.

Experience/ Skills: 

  • A proven track record of working as a Senior/ Executive Assistant within a similar organisation, 
  • Proficiency of working with MS packages in particular Word, Excel and PowerPoint,
  • Experience of managing diaries/ diary management, 
  • An interest or working knowledge of AI tools such as Co Pilot,
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
