This is a newly created role reporting to the Head of Business Development. It is an exciting time to be joining a business with ambitious growth plans.

More about your role  

We are looking to recruit a Senior Bid Manager on a permanent basis. Working autonomously this role will lead the DFM strategic bid process and will be responsible for growing the business in line with its 3 year plan. You will identify and develop new tender opportunities for both new and existing property and facilities management contracts.  In addition, you will be responsible for temporary bid writers who may be required depending on the business need. 

This is a national role and will involve travel to our sites across the UK.

At Places for People, we are committed to a safe work place so a basic DBS check is mandatory.

The closing date for this role is Friday 24th January with interviews (via teams) scheduled to take place week commencing 3rd February.

More about you  

The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Bid Manager in a competitive tendering environment. A proven track record of managing complex / multiple bids concurrently and stakeholder engagement is also desired. Project Management experience / qualifications are desired though not essential.
