More about your role 

As a Quantity Surveyor/ Contract Performance Manager, you'd work closely with the National Contractor Manager in the successful delivery of Capital projects as well as assisting on ad-hoc delivery. On a daily basis you will lead on the compilation of accurate cost forecasts and agree financial accounts for completed projects.

As well as leading on the procurement of contractors to undertake work as when needed, you will ensure valuations are assessed and satisfied whilst also being responsible for invoices (raising purchases orders when needed).

This role will cover Macclesfield to South West and the surrounding regions so access to your own vehicle is essential (This role is predominantly home based but travel to larger projects will be required).

More About you 

The ideal candidate will have a background in Quantity Surveying. Knowledge of housing/ construction as well as experience of managing sub/ contractors is essential. In addition, IT skills are also required.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have experience as a Quantity Surveyor,
  • A background in housing/ construction,
  • Experience managing sub/ contractors,
  • Be comfortable with MS packages such as Excel, Word and Teams,
  • Knowledge of health and safety legislation.
