More about your role

Our technology team is transforming our technology platforms and digital landscape, to simplify the life of our customers and colleagues.  Our platforms are built on a microservices architecture utilising the latest and innovative cloud platforms and services.  You will be working in a team structured into chapters and squads to enhance delivery and learning.

We are looking for a Salesforce Product Manager to develop and deliver a strategic roadmap for salesforce across the group. Your role as the Salesforce evangelist will ensure all businesses across our diverse Group are aware of the product and how it can transform and improve customer service and sales processes. You will be accountable for development and adoption of Salesforce within Places for People, working with business leads, colleagues, and customers to ensure best use of the platform, increasing process automation and solving challenges.

You will help to build a well-defined and integrated roadmap that delivers new products and capabilities, from initial concept to adoption, researching releases and building these into a strategic roadmap to ensure we are keeping ahead of the curve. Over the coming 12 months you will deliver:

  • Build a strategic Salesforce roadmap;
  • Group adoption of the Salesforce platform;
  • Promote the platform and operational efficiencies it brings

More about you

To achieve in this role, you will need expert level knowledge of Salesforce Cloud and be experienced in product management and adoption. You should possess a track record in defining, implementing, and embedding a product management methodology and of leading and supporting successful delivery of a product roadmap. Part-BA you will also be adept at understanding business needs and translating these requirements that can be fulfilled by Salesforce.

Above everything you will be a superb communicator, able to distill down the main selling points of a product into tangible benefits for any audience. You will be collaborative in nature and be comfortable working with senior executives and managing multiple internal & external stakeholders including 3rd party suppliers, vendors and contractors.

This role can be home based with business related travel (when conditions allow) - our IT office is in Preston so some travel to this office will be required
