More about your role

As we position the Group into a data-led organisation we are looking to recruit a Data Product Manager who will own the Groups Data Platform and be a Data evangelist. You will support the business by building a well-defined and integrated Strategy, and Roadmap, that delivers new insights, capabilities, functionality, and modern data platforms from initial concept to adoption.

You will be accountable for the data platforms and tools within Places for People, working with subsidiary businesses, colleagues, and customers to ensure best use of the platform.  You will research the next build and deliver a strategic roadmap to ensure we are keeping ahead of the curve. You and your team will push for Group adoption of the Data platform and tools and help to manage the data providing enrich Data insights across the business. By establishing data and analytics governance you will provide reassurance to the business and assist with enabling all forms of business outcomes through analytics. You will also help to deliver new capabilities across the data platforms, i.e. ML, AI and Data Science.

More about you

As the Data Product Manager your role will involve you working as a business partner so we are looking for someone with excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills. You will be adept and working with non IT staff, asking the right questions to understand their data needs and  translating these into product features. In conjunction with these business partnering skills we are also looking for you to have possess advanced knowledge of Data and Analytics, BI tools, Data warehouses, Data lakes and Data Science.

You should be able to evidence on your cv where you have experience/knowledge of data structure, information systems/tools, related software and data management and enterprise content management. Ideally you will have gained this from a large complex organisation, our Group comprises 20 different companies with differing platforms and ways of working so this will help reduce your learning curve when you get the job.
