Job Purpose: We are seeking dedicated Community Support Staff to join our team at Beaufort Park (NW9). The CSS department is responsible for ensuring the development remains a safe, pleasant, and clean environment for all residents. This role involves supporting residents, the Concierge, and the management team to ensure smooth operations in accordance with company procedures and industry best practices. Training will be provided.
What Hours/rota will I be working?
Nights - 4 shifts on, 4 shifts off from (7 PM – 7 AM with 1 hour break) – averages at 38.5 hours per week
Main Duties:
- Conduct patrol inspections of buildings, car parks, and external routes.
- Record patrols using the Site pro app and report findings to the Duty Manager / Development Manager.
- Complete patrol inspection reports and address urgent issues immediately.
- Respond to noise complaints and investigate short-let properties online.
- Maintain cleanliness by picking up large litter during patrols.
- Issue letters to apartments regarding lease contraventions (e.g., washing on balconies, door mats in communal areas).
- Answer phone calls and emails professionally.
- Assist Concierge when necessary.
- Remove dogs and stop ball games in podiums, playgrounds, and parks.
- Post letters, notices, updates, fines, and newsletters in communal areas.
- Deal with unauthorized learner drivers on the development.
- Place and remove traffic bollards/cones as instructed.
- Inspect and report stains and damages in communal areas.
- Change bin bags and pick up litter during silent hours.
- Monitor and report non-permitted vehicles in undercroft car parks.
- Reset emergency door/gate release buttons and investigate fire alarms.
- Monitor commercial bin usage/misuse.
- Provide support during events (e.g., Concert in the park).
- Aid and support emergency services when required.
Essential Criteria:
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Professional demeanour and customer service orientation.
- Flexibility to work shifts and respond to urgent issues.
- Competent IT skills with working knowledge of Microsoft office products
