More about your role

In this role you will utilise your knowledge and experience working as part of the Response Repairs and Void team assisting the team to carry out high quality work, providing a cost-effective and customer-focused service. Your time will be spent assisting the carpenters, joiners, roofers and plumbers with basic tiling, plastering, woodwork (boxing in of pipes etc) basic brickwork, and plumbing in our tenanted properties as well as working within our void homes.

You will work Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

Due to the travel required in this role, candidates must possess a current UK driving licence.

More about you

An NVQ level 2 (or equivalent) in maintenance, multi-skilled or specific trade with a working knowledge of other trades including joinery and plumbing would be preferable but not essential.  This is a great opportunity for someone who would like to extend their current skills in a multiple trade role

You will be able to demonstrate, at interview, excellent knowledge of best practice health and safety in the work place, your positive approach and commitment to delivering an effective customer service experience. Ideally you will possess previous experience working a social or domestic housing environment.
