We're now looking for a Maintenance Operative to join our on‑site Estate Team at Beaufort Park, helping to keep the development running smoothly and to a high standard.
Where will I be working and what hours?
Full time at our Beaufort Park development (NW9 5EN) – 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8 am until 4 PM
What's the role about?
As a Maintenance Operative, you'll play a vital part in the day‑to‑day upkeep of the development's communal areas. From carrying out routine checks and minor repairs to supporting cleanliness and safety across the site, your work will help ensure Beaufort Park remains a pleasant place for residents and visitors.
This is a hands‑on role suited to someone practical, organised and comfortable working both independently and as part of a wider estate team.
What you'll be doing
- Taking monthly water and electricity meter readings and submitting them to the Property Manager
- Carrying out monthly fire panel and emergency lighting tests
- Completing general cleaning and clearing tasks as directed
- Cleaning windows of commercial properties when required
- Changing light bulbs in communal areas, including car parks
- Jet washing hard surfaces, footpaths, podiums and car parks
- Completing minor repairs such as doors, walls and light fittings
- Supporting the wider team with additional maintenance tasks when needed
What we're looking for
Essential:
- Full UK driving licence
- Basic IT skills, including an understanding of Excel
- Experience with drywall and basic decorating tasks
- Ability to prioritise work and manage tasks effectively
- Willingness and ability to carry out physically demanding work
Desirable:
- Decorating or plasterboard repair experience
- Experience with basic lighting maintenance
