The Organisational Development (OD) team at Places for People are currently undergoing an exciting period of change as we’re launching a Learning and Development Academy and expanding the Organisational Development offer across the Places for People Group. We are thrilled to announce that we are looking for a Learning and Development (L&D) Coordinator to join our innovative team based in London.
You will support the Group Head of OD by co-delivering a range of learning and development services and solutions in line with the Group and People Strategy. You’ll also provide an efficient and proactive administration service to both the Head of OD and the Group Director of People.
Through your commitment to delivering a first class customer service, you will ensure employees and line managers have access to training materials, online learning portals and apprenticeship programmes. You will also take an active role in enrolling employees onto development programmes which are hosted internally and externally, and the continued evaluation of each learner cohorts
You will be the first point of contact for colleague queries into the OD service, so it is paramount that you are a real ambassador of our SPIRIT values and demonstrate an on-going commitment to continuous professional development.
You will have a real interest and passion in learning and development/ the People (HR) agenda. Either working as an L&D administrator or having completed your CIPD level 3 and looking to specialise within this function. You will play an active role in the development and launch of our new ‘Places Academy’, a cross-Group solution to L&D.
Due to the nature of the role you will have previous experience working within a busy administrative environment where you have had to process a high volume of work. Ideally with some experience using and managing an online learning system. We need you to be able to demonstrate that you are highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
You will pride yourself on your attention to detail, flare for showing initiative and enjoy engaging with customers over the phone, in person and via email. Ideally you will have previous experience working within a Learning & Development or HR environment. It is critical that you understand the importance of key factors such as data protection compliance and confidentiality in all that you do.

Ideally you may already hold the CIPD Level 3 qualification in Learning and Development, however if not, after the successful completion of your probationary period we will look to offer you the opportunity to complete the qualification where you will consider topics such as online learning, identifying learning needs, and developing and delivering learning content.
You will play a key part in some pioneering projects that are at inception stage which include growing the blended learning offer across the Group and increasing access to Apprenticeship programmes.
