More about your role

At Brio Retirement Village we are currently recruiting for a Kitchen Assistant to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a customer focused individual, working at our restaurant.

You will assist as directed with all aspects of preparation and presentation of food to the Company's standards in a clean and hygienic environment. Assist chef during busy services where required to ensure the customer has a positive experience.

As part of your role you will be required to assisting the chef in preparation of food, you will be required to have knowledge of food hygiene to allow you to ensure all food areas are clean.

The essential criteria for this role is listed below.

  • Previously worked in a restaurant or kitchen,
  • Knowledge of food hygiene,
  • Previous experience of handling and prepping food.

The role is part time working 15 hours a week, the shifts will alternate between Tuesday – Thursday and Friday - Sunday.
