The Responsive Repair Team are a key part of Places Management. This is an exciting time to be joining a growing business function.

More about your role  

Covering the Chilton region, you will be responsible for the delivery of high-quality Joinery based repairs to the Places for People group stock. You will meet productivity, customer satisfaction and cost targets, always ensuring that value for money and efficiency. 

In addition, you will carry out general repairs where required and ensure a that a high level of customer service is delivered. As well as carrying out works to individual properties and communal areas, you will provide training and guidance to junior members of staff and apprentices. 

At Places for People, we prioritise our dedication to safer recruitment. Therefore, a basic DBS check is mandatory for this position.

More about you  

The successful candidate will have a track record within a similar role - ideally within housing. Technical competency as well as the ability to organise activities in a competent manner are also desired.

Experience & Skills 

  • Experience in a similar role,
  • City & Guild, NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent qualifications)
  • Experience carrying out repairs to a customers home to a good standard,
  • Able to work on their own and as part of a team,
  • Possess a valid drivers licence.
