More about your role  

This is a 6 Month FTC role. Working 21.75 hours per week

As an Infrastructure Lead you will deliver service excellence via effective and efficient co-ordination and delivery of infrastructure projects, liaising with but not limited to utility, fibre and telecom operators. You will be responsible for ensuring that a consistently high standard of quality control and supervision is maintained for each contract, that work is carried out to the relevant company's standard, specification, and schedule, in line with customer needs and expectation.

You will be responsible for the drafting and management of wayleaves and easements, ensuring they comply with statutory requirements in addition to the issuing of permit to works. You will carry out fire stopping quality checks ensuring installations are compliant with the design brief. You will be required to deliver effective communication with all key stakeholders to ensure needs and aspirations are fully understood that projects and programs are designed to deliver against these and the agreed customer promises. 

You will be required to regularly monitor, report, and advise on project performance, identifying opportunities for continuous improvements, leading on managing and implementing a range of initiatives which will drive improvements and maximize income.

More about you  

Essential:

  • You will possess an understanding and demonstrated knowledge of legislation relevant to the infrastructure industry, including telecommunication code, wayleaves, easements, leases, Permits to Work, CDM 2015 and the Building Safety Act 2022.
  • You will have experience of and appropriate qualifications to undertake fire stopping quality checks.
  • Project management experience, allowing you to navigate projects efficiently and effectively

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of identifying redundant infrastructure.
  • Management of rooftop apparatus.
  • Installation and management of Solar Panels.
  • Installation and management of Electric Vehicle Charging Points.

You will exhibit a strong commitment to customer involvement, consultation, and effective communication, recognizing the importance of stakeholder engagement in project success.

You will be able to demonstrate your ability to analyse and solve complex problems.
