Due to retirement we are looking for a Head of Gas Operations to come and join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with one of the largest social housing teams in the UK.
What your role will be
As the Head of Gas Operations you will be responsible for providing operational management and leadership of the Gas Services provided by our Property Maintenance Department. You will liaise with internal and external stakeholders ensuring that Gas Compliance standards are met and policies and procedures followed.
You will operate as a lead for service delivery, continuously developing, improving and growing the service provided and maintaining a high quality cost effective service.

You will have strong business acumen and be able to evidence, at interview, strong budgetary management in addition to excellent forecasting skills. You will have specialist knowledge and proven experience managing a gas service and repair business as well as a relevant gas qualification.
The ideal candidate for this role will have strong leadership skills and the ability to coach, influence and engage a large team. You must have problem solving skills and be self-motivated and have the willingness to ‘go the extra mile’.
Due to the wide geographical nature of the role candidates must possess a full and current UK driving license or access to a means of mobility.
