More about your role 

We are on the look out for a highly experienced and proactive Head of Data Governance to join us on exciting growth at Places for People. You will lead and deliver Places for Peoples Data Governance strategy, building a Data Governance function of analysts who will work with the business in defining the Data Governance Framework and Ownership model, building data glossaries, data quality rules and capturing metadata such as data lineage. 

You will operate the Data Governance platform, building data quality, data glossary, metadata management, and data lineage capabilities, acting as the Product Lead for the Data Governance Platform and how it integrates into the wider data fabric across Places for People. Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in Data Governance.

More about you 

As our Head of Data Governance you will have a proven track record of developing and implementing Data Governance strategy and practices. You will have expertise in data glossaries, data dictionaries, data integrity and Data Governance platforms. Broader experience in data management, engineering and reporting would be beneficial. 

  • Experience in Data Governance, data management, or a related field;
  • A proven track record of working in a leadership role,  
  • Knowledge of developing and implementing Data Governance strategies and practices,  
  • Expertise in data glossaries, data dictionaries, data quality, data integrity, data lineage, and Data Governance platforms
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and levels of the organisation.
