More about your role 

You will be reporting to the Southeast Production Director and have full responsibility for the construction strategy and delivery of multiple developments sites.  

As the senior lead in the regional construction team, you will manage the team and provide a quality product safely within set budgets and agreed timescales. You will be able to drive a culture of accountability ensuring best in class safe practices are followed.  This will be throughout the region, ensuring costs are controlled, programme targets and quality are delivered throughout the design, pre-construction and construction phases.  

You will also work closely with the Aftercare team to ensure customer requirements are exceeded post occupation, supporting excellent levels of customer satisfaction.   

This role will cover the South East region. The successful candidate will live in the region and be expected to visit the sites from the north to the south of the patch. You will be expected to be based out of our office at Gray's Inn Road two days per week, with travel to site visits around the South East Area.

More about you 

Ideally you will be working at a similar level currently for a regional housebuilder/developer and be looking for a new challenge. Having experience of the full lifecycle across the development, able to input and define pre-construction planning and programming, ensure delivery on site by your Build and Site Managers and have experience in dealing with customers and aftercare.  

It would be desirable if you have PLC house building background/Social Housing Development experience.  

We are open to hearing from people that are currently in a Senior Build Manager role or a Head of Build role looking to take the next step in their career.  

You will need to possess strong leadership skills and be able to motivate a dispersed workforce to achieve their goals. You will be analytical with a methodical, commercial approach to problem solving.
