More about your role

Do you consider yourself a positive, energetic person? We are looking for someone who is as spirited as we are about delivering great customer service.  It's our passionate approach that has made Places for People one of the largest and most innovative property management companies in the UK.

You will deliver an effective day-to-day Gas service, repair and installation service to customers whilst ensuring that Health and Safety, Gas Safe, Group Gas Policy and other legislative requirements are met throughout Scotland. With direct management of operational staff to ensure the delivery of a cost-effective customer focused repair service, you will provide technical support to the Works Manager and the trades team covering Gas maintenance and repair issues.

More about you

You will have a trade related background and must have previous experience in the management of Gas trade operatives and an insurance background would be advantageous.  You must be a Gas Safe registered engineer (CCN1, CPA1, CENWAT, CKR1 & HTR1), qualified time served tradesperson and qualified to ACS level. 

You will have extensive knowledge of Health & Safety legislation, Gas Safe Regulations, be an effective communicator and a commitment to providing a First Time Fix and excellent customer service skills.  In addition, you will be able to organise your workload whilst dealing with several conflicting deadlines and demonstrable knowledge of IT systems.  A driving licence is essential for this role.
