They own and manage more than 5,500 homes in England and Wales, providing a range of affordable housing solutions including general let properties, shared ownership (Homes by Muir), independent living (Muir Living) and supported housing.

 

More about your role

In this role, you support the neighbourhood team to keep communities and tenancies sustainable by delivering a visible, customer‑focused service. You take ownership of customer queries, identify support needs, and coordinate person‑centred actions through partners where needed. You help ensure homes are re‑let efficiently, support income recovery, assist with resident engagement, and record outcomes to drive improvements. You also contribute to managing ASB cases, safeguarding customers, monitoring KPIs, and overseeing communal services and health and safety actions, including fire risk recommendations. You work collaboratively across teams, maintain accurate records, organise your own workload, and act as a positive ambassador who lives our values, supports colleagues, and adapts to changing priorities.

This role is based at 80 Lightfoot Street, Chester (CH3 3ED).

Essential Criteria

  • Good standard of general education to at least GCSE level or equivalent.
  • Experience using a range of ICT systems.
  • Knowledge and passion for delivering customer service excellence.
  • Creative problem‑solving with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Resilience and emotional intelligence when handling difficult situations.
  • Confidence in delivering complex information in an understandable way.
  • Ability to manage a high and varied workload.
  • Able to work flexibly, travel between locations, and work additional hours when required.
  • You will need to be in a reasonable commutable distance to Chester.
