More about your role

You will be working as part of a wider on-site team, helping to deliver a high-quality cleaning service that makes a real difference to the people who live, work and visit our buildings. Your role will cover a range of communal and shared spaces, including receptions, foyers, kitchens, bathrooms, corridors, stairwells and refuse areas.
 
You will carry out daily, weekly and periodic cleaning tasks, ensuring all areas are kept clean, safe and welcoming. You'll work in a flexible, customer-focused way, minimising disruption to building users while maintaining excellent standards at all times. Training will be provided on specialist cleaning equipment where required.
 
Essential Criteria
  • Experience working in a similar cleaning or facilities environment.
  • Experience using cleaning equipment, chemicals and machinery safely.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety and COSHH regulations.
  • Ability to complete tasks to a high standard within agreed timescales.
  • Basic IT skills to access systems such as online training.

As our Cleaning Operative / Building Cleaner you will be responsible for maintaining clean, safe and hygienic communal areas, taking pride in your work and contributing to a positive experience for customers and colleagues. You'll be reliable, organised and comfortable working both independently and as part of a wider team.

You'll understand the importance of working safely, following procedures and using equipment correctly. You'll also be happy to be flexible in your approach, supporting the team with additional tasks when needed and engaging positively with customers and colleagues on site
