Thriving Investments is socially conscious fund manager focussed on investment into the ‘living' sector. It has grown its assets under management to £1.1bn across four funds that invest in a range of housing tenures that deliver market returns to investors and social impact. It has a business plan to grow to £5bn + through both launching new funds and growing the existing ones. The Investment Team are seeking to hire an investment professional to support this growth.
Thriving Investments has a current team of over 20 people based across the UK with its main office in central London. It is supported by a board of non-executive directors from across the residential, sustainability and investment management sectors with access to support from other functions such as IT, Finance, HR and Facilities from its parent, Places for People.
More about the role:
We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Fund Manager on a permanent basis.
Working out of Edinburgh 2-3 days a week you will support the Fund Director of the New Avenue Living strategy, encompassing the MMR Fund in Scotland, GM Essential Worker Fund and future NAL strategies. You will also assist the general day to day operation of the funds.
About you:
On a daily basis, you will work closely with the wider Thriving Investment team on fund accounting and reporting. In addition to supporting the production of reports for investors you will maintain the live fund model and ensure performance is maintained and revenues maximised. In addition, you will assist investors with due diligence and onboarding for new and existing strategies.

Experience/ Skills:
- A proven track record of working in a similar role,
- Experience in real estate Investment, Valuations or Capital at a Real Estate Organisation,
- Experience / knowledge of the UK Property Market,
- Proficiency with Excel and IT skills,
- Stakeholder engagement and good communication skills.
