More about yourrole 

On a daily basis, you will provide, under direction of the Management Accountant, quality budgets, management accounts, projections, financial plans and financial analysis.

You will also assist in monitoring expenditure and management of budgets, identifying issues at the earliest opportunity and interpret this to operational managers to encourage performance improvement and help with decision making.

At Places for People, we prioritise our dedication to safer recruitment. Therefore, a basic DBS check is mandatory for this position. This role is hybrid (2 days in the Preston office Wednesdays and Thursdays) to be considered for this role you will need to be within a commutable distance of this location.

 

More about you 

The ideal candidate will good accounting knowledge and experience in accounting and reporting complex groups as well as proficiency with IT packages is also desired.

The essential criteria for this role is listed below

  • Experience as an Assistant Accountant or a similar role
  • Experience analysing data and trend analysis
  • Confident using Microsoft Office especially Excel
  • Be within a commutable distance of our Preston office
