More about your role
Please note this is a 6 month Fixed Term Contract position.
As our Assistant Accountant you will be a part of our Asset and Investment team and be responsible for the financial management of non-regulated assets and projects. You will assist in business planning process including cash flow, capital expenditure and Profit & loss.
You will also provide support to the Assets & Investments Accountants and wider Asset & Investment operational team.
This is a hybrid role from our Preston, Lancashire office. To be considered, you will need to be in commutable distance from this location

More about you
As our Assistant Accountant you will ideally working towards the completion of your CIMA qualification or in the final stages of your AAT qualification. You will be a positive individual with a can-do attitude towards solving problems.
You will have management accounts experience with expertise in Excel and other Microsoft office products.
You will also have excellent communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues and managers on a national basis.
