We're looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our Property Finance team at Residential Management Group (RMG). This role plays a key part in supporting our operational teams with day-to-day finance queries and processes, helping to ensure accurate financial management across a portfolio of developments within your region.

You'll work closely with Property Managers, internal teams, and clients, providing timely financial support and maintaining high standards of service.

Where will I be working?

You will be based full time at our offices in Northwich, CW9 7LN.

Key responsibilities

As an Accounts Assistant, you'll be responsible for:

  • Supporting Property Managers with the preparation of service charge budgets
  • Preparing and producing regular financial reports for clients, including debtors, creditors and budget vs actual reporting
  • Issuing customer demands, including budgets, service charge accounts and ad-hoc requests
  • Processing the setup of new build completions and following up as required
  • Managing handovers for lost management sites in line with agreed SLAs
  • Managing RICS reserves and inter-fund loans to support cashflow requirements
  • Processing Tax Trust Returns
  • Supporting the wider finance team with additional duties as required

Essential skills and experience:

  • Entry level finance experience within a finance or accounts environment, with a desire to develop a career further in finance
  • Working towards (or willing to work towards) AAT qualifications
  • Strong Excel knowledge/skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to deliver a consistently high level of customer service to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational and time management skills
